I’ve realized, with some trepidation, that I have fairly expensive hobbies and tastes. I’d always known that, but it was only when I put together an expense sheet for my last work-term, did the enormity of it hit me. Chalk it up to 4 major areas: photography, books, watches and…coffee.
When your coffee expense starts to climb into the triple digits, it’s an issue. When your book expenses start to nudge quadruple digits, it’s an issue. When your watch and camera equipment expenses are so high that you wince everytime you look at them, it’s an issue.
No wonder I’m short of cash.
