I think Paul Butzi put it best when he wrote “There are no insignificant places“. But it’s hard to communicate the significance in the banal, especially in a medium so prone to over-saturation, and highly graphic, visually appealing elements - all pleasurable sins I’ve committed - coupled with a mass-mentality concept of ‘appropriate’ subjects.
