Too often I’ve said “I’ll do…”, “I’m going to have to…”, “Understand that I will…” and haven’t followed up on it, or followed up half-heartedly. Maybe I think too much about consequences, possibilities et. al or just follow the path of least resistance.
I’m sick and tired of that.
I can almost feel the expectation that my words have little – if any – import. “Yeah. He said this, but based on past behavior…”. Is it just me or is the implied “Yaha. [smile and nod]” coming through loud and clear?
