Is what I write “content”?
Yesterday someone on Flickr took this photo and turned it into this just a few hours before I took a totally different tack which resulted in this.

Quite an excessive use of “this”.
What pleased me the most about this turn of events was that my photograph could be used appropriately under a Creative Commons license to create something else of value.
Why not simply release it into the public domain?
I’m uncertain why – but I never really liked the idea of just throwing my stuff out there. If my work’s out there, I want it to be used as long as the use is non-commercial, the original is attributed to me and any derivative works are released under the same terms. Hmm.
